Training terms and conditions

General terms and conditions

  • In order to complete a purchase of training or certification services, you must acknowledge that you agree to abide by our Master Services Agreement, our privacy policy, and our Training & Certification Services Terms & Conditions.
  • All purchases of MuleSoft training and certification services expire at 12 months from the original date of purchase if unconsumed, unless contracted in writing otherwise.
  • In the event of an eligible cancellation and request for refund, in most cases MuleSoft will provide a credit toward future services rather than issuing a refund directly.
  • Additional terms and conditions other than what are listed here may also apply, as specified at the time of purchase. Please review your order carefully before completing the purchase.

Cancellations or change of class date

  • We request that you provide two weeks notice whenever possible to cancel your enrollment or change your class date.
  • Cancellations must be received at least 5 business days prior to the start of class to receive full credit for fees paid. Cancellations less than 5 business days before class will receive a credit of 50% of the fees paid. If you fail to cancel before class start and/or do not attend class, no credit will be issued, and you will be charged the full amount.
  • In the event of a full cancellation and a request for refund, in most cases MuleSoft will provide a credit toward future services rather than issuing a refund directly.

MuleSoft public class cancellation

  • In the case of low enrollment, MuleSoft may at its discretion cancel or reschedule a class. If you are in a class that is cancelled, we will help find a replacement class for you. Please contact us for more information.

Private classes

  • Private classes are for a maximum of 12 students. Exception requests for additional students require approval from the regional Training department manager, are rarely granted, and would incur additional fees.
  • You will be billed for any travel, living, or equipment rental expense incurred by our instructor for traveling to your class location and conducting your class.
  • You are responsible for providing the classroom facility and equipment, performing the required setup, and ensuring the students meet any prerequisites. MuleSoft will not be held accountable for issues resulting from you not completing these.

Certifications

  • Certifications expire at 2 years from the date of certification, unless stated otherwise.
  • Purchases of unproctored certification exams may include up to 2 retakes at no additional fee. Proctored certification exams do not include free retakes i.e. each attempt requires a separate purchase.

MuleSoft.U offerings

  • MuleSoft.U offerings do not include direct support from the Training & Certification Services department. In order to make this automated offering possible, peer support is utilized via the MuleSoft forums.

Ownership

  • Materials and other intellectual property used in any services or deliverables provided are and shall remain the sole property of MuleSoft. Any unauthorized reuse, distribution, or reproduction in any form is prohibited.

Flexible Training Credits (FTCs)

  • Each Flexible Training Credit can be used to purchase $250 USD list value of training courses or certification exams, and each course and certification option has an associated price in both US dollars and credits.
  • Flexible Training Credits are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • Flexible Training Credits may not be used as a payment method for additional Flexible Training Credits.
  • Flexible Training Credits may not be used as a payment method for the MuleSoft MasterPass.
  • Flexible Training Credits may be used as partial payment for offerings if and only if there are too few Credits available in the customer’s account to make full payment.
  • Flexible Training Credits are non-transferable and non-assignable.
  • Flexible Training Credits may generally only be used for students in the region where the credits were purchased. Exceptions must be approved by the Training department.
  • Services provided by 3rd party vendors may be excluded. Please consult with a member of the Training & Certification Services department for any doubts.

MuleSoft MasterPass

  • The MuleSoft MasterPass and all associated benefits are not transferrable to another individual.
  • For each class that the named individual registers for and does not attend, one month of access will be subtracted from the duration of the MasterPass if MuleSoft is not contacted to cancel the registration at training@mulesoft.com at least five business days prior to the class start date.
  • For each proctored exam that the named individual registers for and does not show up to take, that exam attempt is forfeited if the exam is not cancelled or rescheduled at least 72 hours prior to the exam start time.
  • The MasterPass can only be used to take MuleSoft sponsored classes.
  • The MasterPass cannot be used for private classes.
  • The MasterPass can be used for any class for which the named individual meets the prerequisites.
  • The named individual can only be concurrently enrolled in two different classes.
  • All classes need to start before the end date of the subscription.
  • Flexible Training Credits may not be used as a payment method for the MuleSoft MasterPass.
